Welcome aboard the VeHU e-Xpress Train where you’ll find much needed, self-paced, interactive training at your fingertips! The VeHU e-Xpress Train brings you electronic training FAST.
The VeHU e-Xpress Train is a web-based training resource on VHA clinical software that organizes relevant training into the skills needed for various clinical disciplines. The VeHU e-Xpress Train web-based training provides a jump-start to employees beginning new assignments or taking on new or varied responsibilities. Seasoned staff may also find much of the training beneficial as a means of reinforcing or refreshing existing skills.

Note: these curricula are not intended to be all-inclusive of skills needed by any employee category and only index the web-based training available at this time. Stay tuned- as new training is developed the curricula will be updated to include new training modules. These curricula should not be used to assess competency.
This training guide targets physicians, nurse practitioners and other healthcare providers responsible for using the VHA electronic health record and related clinical software applications for the direct care of patients. Training topics include the various tabs of the CPRS GUI, Tips and Timesavers as well as an overview of future applications such as CPRS Re-engineering.

This training guide targets Pharmacy ADPACS and/or Clinical Application Coordinators with responsibilities for configuration of the pharmacy portion of CPRS or the pharmacy applications. Training topics include the various Pharmacy applications and their effect on CPRS, the CPRS parameters involved in medication ordering and ideas for streamlining medication ordering via CPRS quick orders.
